Proof that looks can be deceiving! From the outside, it looks like an average cafe. Inside, it looks like a very cheap cafe with plastic tablecloths & somewhat lacking decor. However, that's where the negatives end. The staff are lovely, attentive, & speak perfect English. The food is just sensational - cooked perfectly, presented beautifully, & the taste is phenomenal. They even make superb coffee & the mango lassi is to die for! I cannot recommend this place enough! The price is insane too - I've paid five times this for food not even half as good.
From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, it was a great experience! The deco isn't the greatest, but hey, you go to a restaurant to eat, not admire art! They have art museums for that.

We found Tandoori Nights Barcelona on TripAdvisor, it was ranked 4th or 5th in BCN and definitely deserves it. A short walk from Las Ramblas through interesting Raval, I'd recommend it to anyone and will definitely be back ;) Thanks again!

Fui con un muy buen amigo, donde nos pillamon un Nan de queso para compartir; él se pillo un arroz basmati con un plato de mantequilla; y yo me pille el arroz al comino y un plato de Jaifrezi con ternera.

Nachtrag: wir waren jetzt am Sonntag wieder dort (8 Monate später) und hatten diesmal eine Freundin der wir das Restaurant unbedingt zeigen wollten und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht: nach wie vor unglaublich zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit, freundlich und sagenhafte Küche!
