I had never seen a flamenco live show until yesterday night, when I went to the oldest spanish peña, La Platerìa, where I saw some of the best players, singers and dancers of the current generation of flamenco music. I would have never imaged that it could make you feel that way: stunning, hypnotizing and touching. The way they would play together smiling at each other supporting the solos of the dancer with words like "ole'!" or "vale!" ; the guitar player looking at the dancer like he was amazed by his skills... All this makes you feel grateful to them, you wish you were born here to share with them this wonderful culture of friendship and love towards their roots. In few words, I wish I was born gitana. Thank you guys.
Granada ist die Stadt des Flamenco, es gibt bestimmt weit über ein Dutzend Clubs hier. Der beste ist das - Pena Flamenca La Plateria -, und der älteste Flamenco Club in Granada. Konnte dieses wunderbare Wochenende mit der einzigartigen Atmosphäre erleben weil Freunde aus Granada mich hier zu eingeladen haben. Vielen vielen Dank an alle!!
