What a wonderful place. Hubby had burger, best he's ever eaten!! I had cod, absolutely mouthwatering. The service was fab and we can't thank Sandra and Jos enough for a wonderful meal and evening.
A gem of a Dutch family run restaurant in our village. Aptly named as it sure was a surprise to taste the most delicious fresh homemade food. We started with the onion soup followed by the special of ribs which were amazing and came with the best chips I have ever tasted, salad with a lovely homemade dressing and corn in the cob. Great value at 10€ for half a rack. You have a choice of a whole or half rack. The complimentary olives were in the most delicious marinade. We had no room left to try the apple pie Dutch style but will make rom for it next visit. Jos and Sandra make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Can’t wait to try some of the smoked food, I.e. chicken, trout, mackerel and various cheeses. We are so lucky to have this fabulous restaurant virtually on our doorstep. Thank you Jos, Sandra and Devon for a lovely evening with amazing food.
