We got to Madrid late and checked into our hotel looking for a place open late. I was concerned with the price in Yelp but this turned into a very affordable and fun experience.
We were not that familiar with the hot pot style of cooking but have had similar experiences in other places. So we went with the suggestions. Since some of us like spicy and others don't, they were happy to split the pot into 2 halves. One loaded with hot sichuan peppers and the other with a mild tomato based broth.
As our Spanish (or Chinese) isn't that good, the waitress did a good job of explaining what most of the items were and how to cook each item.
It was a fun dinner for the family!
If you're not a fan of spicy food, don't bother coming. You could tell from the name, it's specialized in sichuan food. The starters are yummy!!! The cold noodles are just perfect, probably more on a summer day, instead of this cold winter hahaha. Recommend to order the hotpot soup fondue to add with all the ingredients you like. See, if you're not ready with the spicy food, just order the appetizer, a lot of them! Yummy galore guaranteed.
Salimos a 28€/pax.
Pedimos:
- Caldo mitad sichuan picante mitad caldo de cerdo
- albondigas mixtas: bien
- lomo bajo: corte muy fino aunque gran sabor
- dumplings: muy bien
- panga: el pescado, bueno
- mezcla de setas: muy buenas
- calabaza: bien, absorbe mucho caldo
- carne crujiente: sin mas, esta no iba cocida
- mezcla de fideos: muy ricos
